Overview:
The successful intern will assist administrative staff with the administrative and operational aspects of managing public lands. Significant training is provided with many opportunities for hands-on learning experiences.

Position Responsibilities: This Internship is based in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to expand an individual’s knowledge, experience, and skill-set in professional administrative fields.

Primary duties include:

  • greeting the public and answering questions
  • Answering telephones and taking messages
  • This position will specialize in digitalizing records
  • This internship may also work on-the-ground at events/functions as needed. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Experience with written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable talking to the general public on the phone, and in person
  • Willing to work in a flexible work environment with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
